Researchers to speak at W. Va. Bioscience Summit
Three WVU researchers are among the life science experts who will share experiences and discuss strategies West Virginia can implement to successfully grow discoveries during the Bioscience Association of West Virginia’s third annual West Virginia Bioscience Summit. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Town Center Marriott Hotel in Charleston.
The event will feature panel discussions bringing together university researchers and representatives to highlight the breadth of research being conducted in the state. Speakers include WVU Vice President for Health Sciences Research and Graduate Education Glenn Dillon, Ph.D., and Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute CEO Shana Phares. WVU Associate Vice President of Research Mridul Gautam, Ph.D., is one of the presenters.
